The Beginning Of A New Journey

Dear readers,
Bear with me; I’m new to the writing world — more like the blogging world. Let me introduce myself.
I’m a nineteen-year-old girl from Canada, and I’m heading into my second year of University in September. This is the first time I have written a blog, and I am simultaneously excited and scared. I will remain anonymous since I would get pretty personal on this blog, so my sign-out name would be Purple Stitch. I love the colour purple and Stitch from Lilo and Stitch.
“WriterAttHeart” may sound/look like you have been in fanfiction. I have a Tumblr, Wattpad, and Archive Of Our Own account under the same name: WriterAttHeart. On Wattpad and AO3, I post creative stories about fanfiction like One Direction, Chicago Fire, Teen Wolf, Supernatural, and many others. I plan to write some fiction, which is still in drafts and pending. If you want to contact me, you can do so through my email or Tumblr. I’ll happily listen to anything you guys would like to say!
Like my brain, this blog would be all over the place. If I were to put myself into a category, I would say I’m a lifestyle blogger. What I mean by that is I would be writing about my struggles with mental health and my struggles with my physical health. But I would also throw in some random daily life stuff, writing, or my experience moving out of the house and going to school. I don’t want to call myself a “health blogger” because it won’t be only about health — centred around health but not ONLY about health. So yeah, lifestyle blogger — beginner lifestyle blogger.
Now, moving on to my health, I won’t go into too many details yet, but I suffer from severe chronic migraines, which means I get migraine episodes all day. Now, migraines aren’t “just bad headaches.” They are more than “just a bad headache,” which is a topic for me to write about another day. I am also diagnosed with anxiety and depression, which has been a fun little surprised rollercoaster that life decided to throw at my face. More details about my migraines and mental will be in a different blog post if you are interested. Life’s funny like that.
To reiterate, this blog’s main focus would be my migraines, how they have affected my life, and my mental health sprinkled with other life milestones. My life is a mess; this blog might appear as a mess since it’s about my life, so I’m sorry in advance, and I will do my best to organize everything into something simple and easy to follow.
I plan to structure my post almost like a personal diary/journal if you can’t tell. As mentioned above, I plan to be as transparent as I am willing to get online and figure diary/journal-style writing is as personal as it gets. This is also my first post which means this is trial and error, it might change in the future, but as of right now, this will be the structure of my post.
I love quotes and have my daily quote app on a widget on my phone, so I will do my best to add a quote at the beginning of every post related to my writing. I will try to find the best quote, but I will choose something meaningful if I cannot. I will gladly accept quotes if you have some to share with me.
Please be nice in the comments; I want to create a safe place on my page and be as open with you guys as possible.
Follow along my journey if you’re interested!
Thank you for reading; I hope you have a fantastic day or night or whenever you’re reading this.

The reason for the bow and arrow emojis is that I found this explanation of the bow and arrow and fell in love. One can take any symbol to mean whatever they want, so your meaning of a bow and arrow might differ from mine, and that’s okay. A bow and arrow help me keep my hope and determination in my future. An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backwards. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it will launch you into something extraordinary. Just remember to focus and keep your aim.
